Finished Herreshoff style with varnished teak trim on white flat panels. White gelcoat overhead and trunk cabin sides and varnished teak and holly sole. Excellent light and ventilation with 4 opening ports and one hatch overhead. Reading lamps at the V-berth with overhead dome style lamps in the head and galley. There is a good sized V berth with filler with bin type storage underneath fwd. Aft and to port is the galley which is fitted with an Origo 4000 alcohol stove, stainless steel sink with manual fresh water, counter space and storage in lockers and drawers. Food is kept in a cooler on the main deck. Opposite to starboard is the enclosed head with manual W.C. plumbed via a Y valve to the holding tank. There is a small vanity and storage.

Side decks (tan) with molded in non-skid with convenient grab rails provide access forward, PVC toe rail. Helm and companion seat on easily removable posts so they can be swung down. 6" step down to the aft deck which is fitted with a full width transom seat that also provides plenty of storage.

The Ellis 28''s are solid "pocket cruiser" downeast boats.
