TRANQUILITYis an exceptionally spacious 130-foot Tri-deck Motor Yacht. Though the vessels owners have opted out of subsequent certifications, TRANQUILITYs skillfully constructed, solid fiberglass hull was built and launched according to the specifications of the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS). In the yachts 15 years of service, it has traveled extensively along the eastern Atlantic seaboard and throughout the Caribbean. Due in large part to the yachts resourceful maximization of space and intelligent design elements,TRANQUILITY has earned a reputation as one of the most marketable and successful charter yachts in the fleet.After TRANQUILITYs acquisition by her current owner, the yacht underwent a major refit in 2006/2007 to service and upgrade the vessels mechanical systems, electronics and overall aesthetic. During the refit, the navigational equipment, communications devices, AV electronics, plumbing, mechanical systems and air conditioning systems throughout the boat were all carefully evaluated and either serviced or replaced.The award-winning design team of Claudette Bonville & Associates designed a brand new, au currant, earth-toned interior which included redoing all of the interior wall coverings and soft-goods, re-veneering the warm cherry wood finishes, and adding all new carpeting, drapes, and bedspreads. The skylounge was taken to bare walls and completely remodeled with a new wet bar and lounge area which includes clever placement of a custom fabricated privacy door and pull-out sofa-bed for occasional use as an extra guest accommodation.Additional upgrades added in 2006/07 included modernizing the galley with a new finish and new appliances. On the exterior, teak decking was added to the boat decks sitting area, the aft deck and swim platform which notably elevated the elegance of the yachts aesthetic and the functionality of these areas.In 2011, Shine Yachts completely refinished the exterior of the yacht with their 3 stage Polymer nanotechnology treatment. Also, 2 new 15" Big Bay LED monitors in wheelhouse and a Fleet 55 Satellite phone for communication and internet.
TRANQUILITYis generously appointed with five luxurious guest cabins for up to 10 guests. There is an elegant and spacious full beam master on the main deck, and below deck there are four additional guest cabins accessible from the stately lower deck foyer and central staircase.The Master Cabin features a King size bed and ample storage with two separate wardrobes and a built-in vanity. An impressive en suite entertainment system boasts a 42 Flat Panel TV with DSS, DVD and Aurora multi-function remote. The his-and-hers master bathroom is also full beam with an oversized spa-style marble and glass shower.Three of the Guest Cabins below deck feature queen sized VIP berths and one cabin offers twin berth accommodations. Each of these staterooms has an ensuite bathroom and the three, Queen VIP suites are graciously appointed with Jacuzzi baths.Crew accommodations consist of four cabins accessible from separate, crew area stairwells below deck. The Captains Cabin has a queen berth and ensuite head. There are two additional cabins, each with two twin-berth bunks and ensuite bath in the forward crew area. This area also includes a small lounge area for the crew. Aft of the engine room, there is an Engineers cabin which sleeps two in twin berths and includes a head and shower. The crew area also serves as the ships laundry which includes additional storage, two full size washers and three Asco dryers to facilitate timely turnover of the wash.
The 40-foot Main Salon is designed for an effortless transition from an elegant entertaining space to an informal, comfortable lounge area. The warm, neutral interior dcor is tasteful and refined. The aft area is outfitted with a compact wet bar which overlooks the aft deck through large windows. The wet bar features a number of service amenities including an under-counter KitchenAid ice maker and SubZero compact refrigerator as well as storage for glassware and beverages. The central seating area offers owners and guests a comfortable place to relax. The seating area consists of an oversized upholstered settee and club chairs. The impressive AV system includes a 50-inch flatscreen TV.The forward, formal Dining Salon features a Dale Chihuly style glass chandelier, a contemporary smoked glass and stainless steel table which seats ten in cozy upholstered chairs. Guilded pillars accent the china storage cabinets and separate the dining area from the main salon. Not to be forgotten, a nearby walk in wine cabinet ensures proper storage for the finest wines.The Aft Deck offers a large u-shaped settee with a beautiful solid teak table which can accommodate up to ten guests for alfresco dining or provide a shaded area to enjoy the scenery and relax. There is a starboard spiral staircase which provides exterior access to the sundeck and sky lounge on the next deck.The Sun Deck features its own settee for enjoying a drink under the stars as well as three built-in chaise lounges for taking in the sun. Inside, the newly redesigned and rebuilt Skylounge offers refreshments from a curved wet bar which includes a SubZero ice maker and beverage cooler. An L-shaped settee conceals the convertible sofa bed and offers comfortable seating in addition to the two oversized club chairs. The Salon also functions as an additional entertainment area with its own 50-inch flatscreen TV, Denon surround sound and two video game consoles. Completing the sky lounge amenities are a convenient day head and storage cabinets as well as a custom privacy door.The Galley has been retrofitted with new, all commercial-grade appliances. The work spaces are generous and it is conveniently located just steps away from the dining room.
