INSPIRATION sleeps four in two private cabins with two separate heads and a stall shower.
Located forward with V-Berths, drawers beneath and lockers above and outboard. A cedar lined hanging locker is aft to starboard and a small bureau with drawers and a mirror above opposite to port. Wall mounted 12V brass reading lights at each bunk. Stainless steel opening portholes and a large overhead hatch, all with screens, provide light in an airy cabin.Further aft to port is the owner''s head with Corian vanity and sink, electric Jabsco macerating head, towel racks and excellent storage lockers. Opposite to starboard is separate shower compartment/head with a manual toilet, sink, mirror, towel racks and large storage lockers. Both heads share a custom 40-gallon fiberglass-holding tank with an indicator panel and 12V Whale diaphragm pump out. Both heads also have stainless opening ports with screens and dorade vents for light and ventilation.
Continuing aft and to starboard is the guest stateroom with 6 1/2 upper & lower berths. Three drawers for storage below the lower bunk and hanging lockers forward and aft with a bookcase and above the forward locker and bureau top above the aft. A safe is secured in the aft locker. Wall mounted 12V brass reading lights at each bunk. Stainless steel opening ports and a large overhead hatch, all with screens.
U-shaped to port galley opening inboard with an abundance of storage lockers both above and below the Corian countertops. A custom-made locker with room for 11" plates is above the double stainless sink. Outboard is the Princess 3-burner propane cook top with oven. Forward port corner is a cavernous top loading storage bin. The aft counter contains a custom top load freezer and front-loading refrigerator, inboard, with 110V Grunert holding plate refrigeration, both boxes. Sharpmicrowave oven aft and above. Stainless opening ports and a large overhead hatch, also with screens, provide generous light and ventilation.
The main salon is entered from either the aft cockpit or the starboard side door at the forward helm. On the starboard side is a settee, with lift up storage beneath, and dining area with a custom double drop leaf table with storage inside and beneath. Forward of that is the double teak helm seat, with a footrest and storage inside, facing the helm station. The port side offers a settee, with drawers beneath, flanked by two multi drawer bureaus. A flat screen TV is mounted in the aft corner. A teak armchair is forward again with large custom raised bureau/chart table with two 36 wide drawers and two louvered door lockers below. The floor is finished in varnished teak and holly and has access hatches to the engine room below.All Salon upholstery is covered with an attractive blue Ultra Suede. There are large tinted sliding windows in the salon with curtains, screens, and shades.
Sole is laid teak over fiberglass with three opening hatches to the lazarette storage area. Built in steps port & starboard for access to the side decks and a transom door to the teak swim platform. A hot & cold shower is fitted into the transom. The base of the ladder to the flybridge was moved aft to make the angle more suitable for bridge access. This entire area is covered with a rigid bimini.
Accessed from a ladder on the starboard forward side of the cockpit. The helm is forward to starboard with full instrumentation and nav gear. Two Pompanette helm chairs for driver and passenger and a bench seat aft with storage beneath. A rigid bimini top with four sided enclosure covers the flybridge.
Molded laminated white fiberglass deep V hull Divinycell foam core above the waterline. Molded fiberglass balsa cored deck. Bottom coated with Epiguard epoxy for blister protection. Fiberglass flybridge. Teak planked over fiberglass cockpit. Satin varnished teak interior and cabinetwork with solid teak & holly sole. Aluminum, fiberglass and stainless tanks. A small skeg was part of her original build for prop protection. The mast is hinged for lower bridge clearance.
