LAUREL sleeps 17 in owners and guest party in seven en suite staterooms. She sleeps 22-24 in crew plus a double Captains cabin. There is an elevator serving all decks. The interior of LAUREL, designed by Don Starkey, is beautifully finished in herringbone anigre with the selected use of walnut, cherry, burled and birds eye maple, eucalyptus pommel and karelian birch woods throughout. Her floors are pale oak with walnut trim and handmade English wool carpets. Serdinelli hardware is used throughout guest areas and brushed stainless steel THG hardware throughout the crew areas. Linens are 1200 thread count by Sferra and the furnishings and fixtures are of the absolute highest quality everywhere; many were custom made by Delta. The entire crew area of LAUREL is finished to the same high standard as the owners areas.TANK DECK:All the way forward is the bow thruster room, followed aft by the air conditioned crew gym. An air conditioning technical space is aft to port with shelved dry stores opposite to starboard. There are two more upper and lower berth crew cabins with en suites further aft. On the port side further aft is another crew cabin with upper and lower berths and en suite followed by a staff cabin with twin lower berths and pullman berth. The Staff cabin and head is finished to guest cabin quality levels. Just ahead of the crew lobby/foyer is crew access out the shell door, and a staircase which goes down to the tank deck or up to the main deck galley. The shell door allows for provisioning and crew tender access with out any guest interruptions. All the way forward on the guest lower deck to starboard is the seventh guest stateroom ormassage room with en suite bathroom with Jacuzzi tub. Presently set up as a massage room there is a queen sized and a twin sized Murphy bed hidden in the aft bulkhead which fold down to make the berthing arrangements in this guest/massage/staff/pilot/childrens stateroom.Further aft to starboard is the sixth stateroom with centerline queen berth, single berth inboard to port and Pullman berth above. The en suite bathroom also has a Jacuzzi tub, shower and double sinks. These two staterooms, equally for guests as children or staff, can be closed off from the lower deck lobby just ahead of the guest coffee bar which is opposite a large walk in linen store.Further aft are four identically sized king sized VIP guest suites. They are all finished in anigre wood, but each differs with inlay wood selections and dcor. All tenders are deployed via over head cranes, which is a very safe and easy way of deploying the smaller craft at water level. There is a soft patch in the garage which opens to the generator room allowing for easy change out of equipment. The beach club is delightful with dive tank and gear storage forward to port, a bar with sink and refrigerator on centerline, storage outboard and staircase up to the main deck. Adjacent to the stairs up to the main deckis a day bathroom. To starboard of the tender garage entrance is a crew work shop. The transom door in its folded down position makes a lovely beach area with showerand when in the closed position a built in swim platform enables line handling and tender operations. The swim platform (when the transom door is closed) can be reached through a smaller personnel door on the port side.MAIN DECK:All the way forward on the main deck there are two guest double riding chairs and a small sofa. Anchoring equipment is further aft ahead of access to the Bosun store, workshop, crew wet locker and air conditioning technical space. Access further aft is into the crew area and there are two crew cabins, each with upper and lower berths, desk and en suites located here. From the foyer in this area proceeding aft you enter into the crew mess/recreation area, which is, without doubt, the very best on any yacht under 300 feet. There is a crew dining area outboard to starboard which seats the entire crew comfortably. There is a central serving island where foodis placed into a bainmarie. There is a refrigerator, coffee makers, dishwasher and full sink area as well as a soda dispenser using syrup to save on plastic bottle use. Opposite to port is the crew recreation room which is delightful with large screen TV, lounging couches and two computer stations. The owners bathroom is forward with walk in wardrobes outboard on both sides, two sinks in the bathroom which also has a massive double shower and a toilet in a separate room. The king bed is on the centerline facing aft with an entertainment center against the aft bulkhead. One of the wonderful attractive features of LAURELs owners area are the spacious port and starboard balconies or terraces. They each have built in settees forward for shade or to be protected from the wind and are private from the main side decks by way of lockable doors. They have overhead heaters for inclement weather as well as chaise lounges and easy chairs for relaxation. These are wonderful places to be while underway. The owners working study is aft of the stateroom to starboard. It has a desk with file cabinets outboard, a long couch inboard, two printers and an easy chair. Continuing in the owners area further aft is the owners lobby with small coffee service with sink and refrigerator inboard and a shopping closet outboard. Owners suite is positioned 1/3 of the way aft for a more comfortable ride while under way and so as not to be disturbed by bow thruster and anchor windlass noise.Further aft is the main deck lobby with day bathroom inboard finished in travertine.Opposite to port is the main galley with pantry aft. There is crew access to the main deck and below on the port side and a large walk in china storage room adjacent the crew entrance. In the main deck entrance lobby on starboard side, with access from the generously wide side decks, is the elevator which services every deck and is behind the main staircase from the lower deck all the way to the sun deck. There is a beautiful spiral stair case in walnut and anigre which wraps around glass art spanning from the main deck to sundeck, lighted with fiber optics, designed and sculptured by Seattle designer ''Mary van Cline'', with the theme of sea life from the ocean floor to above the surface.Moving aft on the main deck, the dining salon is semi private with exceptional storage in lockers with built in storage for china, silverware, crystal and tableware all around and a separate linen locker for table linens. The oval dining table can be extended to seat sixteen, with six additional chairs stored in their own separate locker. In its normal position the dining table seats ten. Two center windows open to allow fresh air. Two sliding doors forward and aft to starboard give privacy to the dining salon from the main salon and foyer if desired. The main salon, finished in walnut, has a concealed TV against the forward bulkhead a seating group around a large coffee table and settees outboard with ottomans hidden underneath. It is important to note that every unused space greater than 1 cu. ft throughout LAUREL has been dedicated to finished storage, so she does indeed have the very best storage, in every area, including crew, ever seen on a yacht of her size. The main deck aft has recessed wing doors giving protection from the wide side decks, overhead heaters for dining in inclement weather, and can be partially enclosed by side curtains, yet is delightfully open with various loose furniture arrangements providing numerous settings for relaxation. There are serving islands on both sides forward against the aft bulkhead, with a wet bar in the starboard island. There is a staircase down to the beach club, and passarelle access on the starboard side.UPPER BRIDGE DECK:The bridge has a central helm position with a helmsman seat neatly hidden away under the island style chart island. There is a TV is concealed in the starboard side forward bulkhead. The covered aft bridge deck dining area is large and inviting with an expandable teak table for sixteen that can be arranged in two positions athwartships, or longitudinally. There are lounging chairs and coffee tables, also moveable for various seating groups, and buffet counters either side, with a wet bar in the starboard one. Wing doors, removable side enclosures and overhead heaters enhance guest comfort in colder climates. At the aft end of the bridge deck there are built in settees around coffee tables which have loose easy chairs. There is an electric BBQ and a 6,000 lb crane is hidden in the bulwarks aft for launching the rescue boat from the sun deck above. The aft end of the bridge deck is shaded by a fixed sun awning and on port and starboard sides are bulwark gates which are also fitted out for diving boards or side ladders to be attached.SUN DECK:Outside forward to starboardthe sun deck has a teak and granite wet bar with three varnishedswivel chairs.
