ACCOMMODATIONS AND LAYOUT: This vessel is a 1978 Defever which has been nearly restored. The interior has been restored in that most of the original teak bulkheads, lockers, and drawers were removed and rebuilt with new teak wood. The head and shower have also been restored. All of the bulkheads are stained and finished. New safety glass has been installed in the cabin structure. The master stateroom is aft. It has also been restored in that the bulkheads, drawers removed and rebuilt. There are new head liners in all the staterooms and the salon. The interior has light colored floral pattern fabric on the berths, dinette and salon cushions. The two cabins include v-berths in both staterooms and a head for each.
The hull is constructed with fiber reinforced plastic. There are two port lights. The port light openings are stainless steel framed glass. The chain locker is forward and accessible through an access in the forward cabin. The deck is also molded fiber reinforced plastic. The cockpit is open with hand railing, wind dodger and hardtop. The deck has welded stainless steel rail system that runs the perimeter of the vessel. Boarding gates are port, starboard, and aft. The anchor platform is teak with stainless steel trim. The flybridge provides helm station and crew seating area with framed clear plastic spray shield and chairs. CQR45 Blow Anchor and Ideal Windlass.
Twin 120hp Ford/Lehman 380 Marine diesel engines. Throttle controls: Morse mechanical lever/cable type at both upper and lower helm stations for main engines. Mechanical fuel and air shut off controls for emergencies on both engines. Two Bilge blowers. Low oil pressure alarm and coolant overheat warning both visual and audible at helm station. Two new fuel tanks, stainless steel, that hold 460 gallons of diesel fuel total. The fuel filters are remote mounted Racor filter/water separator type 900FG.
The galley is to the port side salon. There are large opening windows on the sides and a large forward windshield. The salon entrance is gained through a modified companionway door, in the aft cockpit area. The floors are new teak parquet in the cabins, and teak flooring in the galley and heads. The refrigerator is a Tecknautic Ice Box, side by side. Princess Gourmet Flat Top 3 burner stove with oven- 110volt electric. GE microwave oven, Black & Decker Smart Brew coffee maker, and Kitchen Aid blender also included.

Two Marine Air self contained units with controls. The Marine unit is reverse cycle for heat. Perkins diesel generator 11.5 kw. It is located in the aft engine compartment. Remote Racor filter/water separator R205. The exhaust system is a Aqua Lift type fiber reinforced plastic. The fresh water system has two stainless steel tanks that hold 150 gallons each. The pump is a Shurflo 12 volt demand diagram type water pump. Hot water 110 electric Attwood that holds 11 gallons. There are two heads one forward cabin and one aft cabin. The holding tank is approximately 50 gallons. The Hydraulic steering system by Hynautic. One main helm station in the salon and one at the flybridge.
