Comments and Exclusions
Broker Comments:

Potentially the most successful of the collaborations between legendary naval architects C. Raymond Hunt Associates and world class builder Grand Banks to create a fast powerful yet seakindly yacht finished with a Patrick Knowles designed interior.

Three-stateroom interior with galley down configuration, bright and airy main saloon, opening to a generous cockpit and a stairway to a large well equipped flybridge. Interior is finished in satin varnished teak with hardwoods done in high gloss. Varnished teak and holly sole throughout the entire yacht. All overhead lighting by Cantaluppi. Oceanair combination screens and blinds for all overhead hatches.

The heart and soul of the Eastbay 58 is her main saloon. Entered through a sliding door from the cockpit or starboard door at the helm station, it is a warm, bright, and inviting comfortable room. A large L shaped settee is aft to starboard with a Hi- Lo folding leaf teak table with maple inlay and compass rose. Storage is found beneath with gas shocks assisting the hinged seat and back for easier access. Forward is a multi drawer bureau with granite top. Opposite to port is an entertainment center with remote control TV lift module and liquor storage beneath. Upholstered barrel chairs flank this unit. Port aft is the yachts electrical panel cleverly concealed behind faux book covered doors and all the way forward is a combination dinette/nav desk with two custom swivel stools. The top openings were customized to maximize access to the space beneath.Forward to starboard is the lower helm station with Stidd helm chair, teak steering wheel and sliding access door to the side deck. The helm itself has been carefully designed to manage all nav, communication and operating functions from one location.

Several steps down from the main saloon to port, opening inboard and U shaped, with Giallo Topazio granite counter tops and backsplash. Forward is the Scandvik double stainless sink, one bowl larger, with Grohe single lever faucet and Miele Touchmatic teak faced dishwasher inboard. Centered outboard is a 4 burner Miele 220v electric cook top, with pot holders, above a Miele convection oven. Aft and outboard is a 5.5 cu. ft. capacity top-loading freezer followed inboard by a Sharp convection microwave. Next is the custom 2-door 13.9 cu. ft. refrigerator with adjustable slide out drawers and shelves with in door thermometers, upper and lower, cooled by a Grunert 220v holding plate system.Significant effort by the owner to maximize and customize storage during the build. Open above to the saloon this is a bright and airy space with light from the outboard opening port and the forward windshield above.

Opposite the galley and entered through sliding double pocket doors, opens to a queen sized berth outboard with two large drawers beneath, nightstand inboard, and varnished teak hull ceiling outboard. A cedar lined hanging locker is forward and two opening ports for light and ventilation.

Just forward down the passageway fitted with two athwartship single berths each with drawer storage beneath and a cedar lined hanging locker between them. A flat screen television is mounted on the inboard bulkhead of the aft berth. Opening ports and an overhead hatch for light and ventilation.

Opposite this stateroom is a louvered door locker containing separate stacked Miele Washer and Miele 220v dryer.

Also opposite the port Guest stateroom with granite countertop and separate stall shower with an overhead hatch and opening port.

Center line queen size island berth with drawer storage beneath and gas assisted shocks enabling the aft of the berth to be lifted accessing additional storage beneath. The forward bulkhead is fabric padded and the berth is flanked by swivel arm reading lights and teak bookshelves. Hull ceilings are lined with varnished teak. A large double door cedar lined hanging locker with a built in safe is aft to starboard, and bureau forward . An emergency escape ladder is also stored in this locker. Opposite to port is a bureau with flat screen television mounted above. The master head is a separate compartment entered port aft and the separate stall shower is located as you enter this stateroom to starboard. Additional overhead hatches were added for each of these compartments to provide extra light and ventilation. There is an additional shelved locker for clothes or storage. All flat surfaces are finished in Giallo Topazio granite, including the head and shower.

Down 2 steps from the Main Saloon or entered by the transom door from the swim platform, with a sole covered in laid teak. There are steps from each forward corner to the side decks and 4 hatches for access to the lazarette storage and bilges beneath. Additional storage and custom built-in lockers outboard, port and starboard. Forward to port, beneath the flybridge staircase is a doorway to the air-conditioned engine room. Forward to starboard is a built in electric grill with U-Line icemaker beneath. A hot and cold shower is fitted into the inside of the transom for use in the cockpit or on the swim platform.

The flybridge is accessed by a staircase from forward port side of the cockpit. A large L shaped settee with Hi-Lo teak table is to starboard upon entering this space and includes a wet bar to port with Scandvik stainless sink and Norcold DC refrigerator beneath. Forward is the helm ahead of 3 Stidd helmsman and passenger seats. The helm console has full instrumentation for both ship''s operation and navigation. A teak rimmed stainless destroyer style wheel is centered in front of the console, with a storage locker to port and louvered door locker to starboard for access bemeath the helm area.

Perhaps the most highly thought out and customized version of the Eastbay 58 by a very knowledgeable, experienced and detail oriented original owner. Well over 100 changes were incorporated to the standard boat, including extras like additional fuel capacity and an air-conditioned engine room, along with several trips to the yard during the build process. She has recently completed a major refurbishment and refit including updating of all equipment, systems and furnishings. Full details are available on request. Spring engine commissioning and servicing done by Milton Caterpillar.Dinghy shown in running shot is not a part of the yacht''s inventory nor is there one included.
