Accommodations for up to 6 in this beautifully maintained GB 46with the preferred 2 stateroom galley down layout. Full varnished teak interior with varnished teak parquet style soles. There is an abundance of natural light and ventilation throughout with 12 sliding ports with screens, 6 overhead hatches with screens and 12 large windows in the Salon some of which are sliders with screens as well as the three windshield windows.Starting forward is a private Forward Stateroom with large v-berth that, with filler in, is as wide as a king sized berth. Below the berth there are5 drawers as well as some bin type storage. The laundry is the best set up we have seen on a Grand Banks 46 with the Whirlpool washer and dryer set up side by side at the aft bulkhead of the head, providing more working space than the typical stacked arrangement as well as better storage with storage lockers over the washer dryer and outboard of the vanity and W.C.Opposite the forward head is the galley (see the separate description for this below). At the aft end of the fore and aft passageway are the steps to the main salon. These conveniently lift to allow access to the engine room. (additional access through hatches in the Salon.Up three steps to the Main Salon. Forward and to port is "breakfast bar" with swivel chairs that doubles as an ample chart table when so desired, just aft of which is the port side door. Further aft are two arm chairs between which the entertainmentconsole is centered and in the aft port cornerare book shelves. The entertainment system console houses a 19" flat screen TV, JVC Stereo, Bose Soundwave system and CD changer. To starboard is the L-settee below which there is storage in drop face lockers and at the aft inboard end a drawer. Dining is on the teak drop table that will comfortably handle six for dinner with clever storage built in and storage for wine bottles under. Upholstery for the salon is blue Ultrasuede, curtains for the windows. Fwd of the settee is the dry bar with glass and bottle storage below which there is an icemaker. Further forwardis the double helm seat with 3 drawers and a locker below, as well as the starboard side door. The Lower Helm Station with electrical panels and vessel navigation and control systems is forward and to starboardDown 2 steps is the Master Stateroom featuring an Island Queen berth below which there are storage drawers including a full size chart drawer. There are bureaus P&S with a total often additional deep drawers. Nightstands on either side for the berth providefour additional drawers and there is a corner vanity/writing desk with vanity stool just to starboard of a standard aft companionway and ladder. At the forward bulkheadis a large cedar lined hanging locker. The Master Head is split P&S with the private stall show to starboard and the head withVacuflush w.c. to port along with a generous Cultured Marble topped vanity with sink and pressure H&C water and excellent storage.
