Walkthrough"Keliautojas" may be boarded through boarding gates both port and starboard or from the swim platform up the curved built in stairs on the starboard side to the aft deck. Once on deck you enter the salon thru a sliding watertight door. The contemporary styling along with the warmth of the woods and the picturesque windows leaves you with a wonderful place to view all that nature has to offer. The leather couch and the entertainment center are to port, to starboard you will find a crafted dining table with a beautiful inlay and seating for four. Aft on the starboard is a one of a kind staircase to the engine room. The galley is adjacent, yet is separated by a large granite counter that has two custom bar stools on the salon side. This gourmet galley is spacious and well laid out along with built-in shelves and drawers. Forward on the starboard side and up three stairs is the pilothouse with port and starboard doors leading out to the decks. From the galley centerline, down a very custom staircase are the living quarters. Going aft is the large master stateroom with en suite head and shower. Forward of the master on the port side is the utility room. Adjacent to the base of the stairs on the port side is the guest head with a shower. Across on the starboard side is a guest room with two pullman bunks. Forward is the third stateroom with centerline sleeping and a generous amount of space. There is a good separation between the owners stateroom and the guest cabins. All interior wood is cherry with self-closing cabinet doors and double safety latches on all drawers, doors are solid cherry. Headroom is at least 6''5" throughout.SalonEntering the salon from the aft deck thru a Pacific Coast Marine watertight sliding door you are immediately on the ceramic tile entry area to the salon. The area has carpeted sole, all woodwork is high quality cherry, and cabinetry is aluminum with cherry veneer overlay. The headliner is framed in cherry trim along with the windows giving a rich and elegant feel to this contemporary styling. An opening screened hatch will provide ventilation, halogen lighting, panoramic windows; custom blinds all offer lighting options to this great area. The entertainment area an additional stowage is to the port side. On the starboard side aft is the staircase to the engine room. A stainless stepped entry along with wood paneling and lucite paneled half wall give a great division and artistic look to this area. To the starboard side there is a built-in cabinet with counter, bookshelves and four large drawers. The galley is fully equipped for the gourmet chef in the family. As one would expect there is a generous amount of storage along with ample natural light to make this one of the focal points on Keliautojas. Some of the features in this expansive pilothouse are, hinged access panels, air-conditioned electronics cabinet, comfortable settee, pilot berth, full size chart drawers, along with abundant shelves and storage areas. There are port and starboard Pacific Marine watertight doors for safety with access to both side decks and forward. The sole is dark cherry along with the leather upholstery; make this a very comfortable and aesthetically pleasing area. Five forward facing windows, side windows and overhead hatches provide excellent lighting and ventilation. This is sure to be one of the main focal points of Keliautojas. Her underwater body has a bulbous bow, raked stem, hard chines, slab sides, moderate deadrise and a moderate deep keel. The boxed keel is constructed of 24 wide by 3 thick steel plate and tapers into a skeg/rudder shoe at the stern. The vessel is fitted with heavily built bilge keels, set at the same angle as the center keel which enables her to set on her own bottom when hauled and also adds to her ride. The propeller is housed in a 40 diameter Rice Nozzle (kort), which is connected to the hull at three points with 1 flat bar filler strips and to the skeg with strips. The propeller shaft set in the Rice Nozzle has a carbon-block bonding strap. The propeller shaft exits the hull at the stern bearing and is not exposed. The flat plate, semi-balanced rudder has a bolted on lower cutlass bearing and a bolt on flange above. There are two 10 diameter sea-chests on each side of the keel aft.The exterior hull was blasted to white metal and finished with Akzo Nobel Awlgrip paint system, including epoxy fairing compound which leads to the excellent look of this hull and superstructure. The superstructure is welded aluminum plate; aluminum (5086) superstructure .1875x.250 and was painted with the same system as the hull. The superstructure was joined to the hull using a mechanical lap joint using nylon and rubber insulators to prevent dissimilar metal corrosion. There are six AWG tinned and stranded bonding wire between the mast and the house and again between the house and the hull as part of the lightening protection. All ABS steel plates were used and wheel abrated and primed with Devoe 302. The bulwarks are fitted with 1.5 stainless steel tubing, 19 high double course railing on the bulwarks. The bulwarks also have four stainless steel line closed mooring chocks, four cruciform bitts and two feeling ports lined with stainless steel. There is a freeman flush deck hatch into the forepeak and an escape hatch from the forward stateroom. The Portuguese bridge is 42 high which is also fitted with a 6 high stainless steel top rail.
