Master Stateroom:The Master Stateroom is located forward and on the port side. There is a tapered mattress that follows the hull shape and provides the equivalent of about a full sized bed. There is a small sink, toilet with upper and lower cabinet storage in the same room. Main Salon:The Main Salon has Teak and Holly soles and long bench seats on both sides. There is ample seating for crew, friends and guests. There are matching port and starboard outer bunks above the bench seating. Each bunk has a pair of long drawers just above the benches and ample hanging locker space fore of the bunks. Galley:The galley is immediately to port as you come down the companionway. There is a stainless steel four burner propane stove and oven. Additionally there is a stainless steel sink and a refridgeraton box on opposite sides of the stove. Guest Accommodations: There are two bunks in the main salon area, as well as a separate guest cabin forward of the salon and on the starboard side. This cabin has twin bunk beds, (3) sets of drawers and a separate head and shower.
BLITZEN appears to be in reasonably good condition given her age. The present owner has undertaken the necessary maintenance every season in order to enjoy her year after year. A new owner may continue that maintenance schedule, or consider a full refit in order to bring BLITZEN back to like new condition. Either way, BLITZEN has the design, lines and pedigree that will keep turning heads in the harbor for may years to come.
